Steel shaft is black oxide finished
Aluminum hub is blue anodized
The locker/spool eliminates differential action for greater acceleration and climbing. It is recommended for off-road use only.

Recommended to use a removable-type locking adhesive on screws threading into metal
Check hub setscrew for proper torque prior to installation
Ring and pinion gears and factory Traxxas 5380/3979 differential housing, 5118 8x16x5mm bearing, and 5119 10x15x4mm bearing
