This was my first trip to Club RC in Houston, a 24 hour come as you please facility for members. Brandon Waltson invited me out for their first annual dash for cash race. He talked to me about a team event, teaming a pro with some local racers to help them with things that would make their racing better. I thought this was a great idea and I definitely wanted to be a part and I’m glad I was.

It’s been a fun, but slightly painful time at AMS 6.0. The last two days have been long with both nights going well into the next day. The track at AMS 6.0 was super technical and got more technical as the race would go on. The track featured several high speed sections, along with sections that needed just the right amount of speed. More important was location, as being off one or more feet would result in a crash.

Well the 2015 Hangin Judge Classic is said and done. It’s always a pleasure to make the trip to Fort Smith, Arkansas, home of gshobby.com and the HJC. This has been a super competitive and technical race, but along with that, this year we’ve seen a growing number of newcomers into this race and this area. I’ve always been the one to try to help the hobby grow, not just at a high level, but at a beginner and local level also.
